
- Kaitlan Collins – As CNN’s youngest ever chief correspondent, Collins has broken several of the world’s most pressing news stories in the past 5 years. Last year she received a Washington Women in Journalism Award for her outstanding work in the field.
- Quinta Brunson – Writer, showrunner, producer, and actress Quinta Brunson is making waves in the television industry with her hit-show Abbott Elementary. Last year the show quickly became ABC’s highest rated comedy and has earned Brunson a series of accolades including several Emmy nominations, making her the youngest Black woman to be nominated in a comedy acting category.
- Tracey Chou – Software engineer Tracey Chou is doing the work to make social media safer for all of us. Online harassment continues to be a persistent problem, and Chou’s online and real-world experiences with sexual and violent harassment led her to create Block Party, an app that helps filter out abuse from trolls. Chou hopes to expand the app to cover more social media platforms so that everyone can share their thoughts and experiences without fear of attacks based on their identity.
